The Winnock Hotel surrounds the pretty village green and is nestled in the centre of Drymen, on the east side of Loch Lomond. It is superbly situated for everyone to enjoy exploring the byways, lochs and beautiful rustic countryside as well as the cities of central Scotland.
A warm and friendly welcome always awaits at the Winnock, which has been recently extensively refurbished and modernised to provide all the amenities and comfort required by the visitors - whilst retaining all the 18th century character of the original Inn.
All bedrooms have been sympathetically decorated and individually furnished in pleasing tones and fabrics. There is a choice of single, twin, double or family rooms all with either ensuite bath or shower rooms.

The Winnock Hotel has a variety of wining & dining options available for guests. Each Restaurant offers a different style of cuisine and ambiance. Yours to choose from are the historic and intimate Merlin Restaurant, the characterful and cozy Ptarmigan Bar or the popular Capercaillie Room where entertaining evenings abound!
The Merlin Restaurant offers a romantic setting for dinner by candlelight. With exposed stonework and original beams, the setting adds to the hotel's historic ambiance. The style of cuisine in the Merlin Restaurant is A La Carte, presenting the finest local produce, lovingly prepared for you to savour.
The Capercaillie (pronounced ka-per-kail-ee) Room is the venue for our regular Ceilidh and Scottish Nights. Tasty food abounds, silver served to you by our attentive and friendly staff.
The Capercaillie Room is also the ideal venue for Wedding & Function bookings.
The Ptarmigan (pronounced Tar-mi-gan) Bar is a cosy pub & lounge offering bar meals and drinks from the bar at pub prices! Famous for its home made steak pies, the comfy leather chairs and sofas offer the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine or a pint to wash down some traditional pub grub.
Popular with the locals, you’ll be sure to meet a few memorable characters in the Ptarmigan Bar. Don’t worry, the natives are friendly!
Excellent facilities for guests include the Ptarmigan Bar with its extensive selection of ales, spirits and wines, and a specialty range of over 70 malt whiskies. Bar meals are available day or evening. Scottish produce - local beef, lamb, venison and fish - features on the menu of the Highlander Restaurant.
