The warmth of the welcome, caring service and culinary expertise, side by side with efficiency and courtesy, can only be offered by a privately owned hotel such as the Cairngorm.

The Cairn Hotel, situated in the centre of Aviemore, houses an immaculate Restaurant renowned for its imaginative and extensive menus. The atmosphere and surroundings are congenial to the enjoyment of good food and the restaurant is also open to non-residents for dinner and an excellent Highland breakfast.

The daily menu is served in the Lounge and Coffee Shop from 12noon to 6pm. We also serve a senior citizens and childrens menu daily.

Also a hot drinks and coffee shop specials menu (including breakfast) is available throughout the day.

Locally sourced produce from Moray, Grampian and Angus is used whenever possible, some understandably seasonal, complimented by an excellent wine list, not to mention local single malt whiskies for that 'little something' with your freshly ground coffee perhaps. A relaxed atmosphere with attentive and efficient staff, this is eating out in Scotland at its best and a sure leader for fine dining in the Highlands.

Whilst the normal Evening Menu is always available in the restaurant The Cairngorm likes to extend the fine dining experience in Aviemore by offering 'special night" menus.

Thursday night is Hot Highland Buffet Night - a great selection of hot dishes representing some of the best Highland produce from Scotland's succulent larder.  Some of the best food in the world prepared in an imaginative and innovative way by the hotel"s prestigious Chef, followed by dessert from the standard menu.

Sunday Lunch is The Cairngorm traditional three-courses accompanied by a soothing musical background of Alistair tinkling the ivories. Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere in the company of friends, whilst planning the week ahead.
