The Lochaber area has a very good choice of places to stay while visiting. There are many villages and communities all over Lochaber which are attractive to a variety of visitors for a host of different reasons.
There are places in the mountains or places by the sea, or by the shores of a loch or river and secluded locations in forests, woodlands and quiet country settings. To be honest, the whole of Lochaber provides a quiet peaceful alternative to a bustling, noisy city.
Most of the accommodation in Fort William and Lochaber is graded for facilities by the Scottish Tourist Board, which awards a star rating to participating members. Some accommodation providers however choose not to register for the scheme and some of these properties will be featured on this site.
